Meet Heidi - Owner of Mayfield House kindergarten

We interview Heidi on her business and reasons for chosing Multimac:

  • What’s your name?
Heidi Munday
  • Where are you from?
Kidderminster , Worcestershire, UK
  • What do you do?
I own a kindergarten called Mayfield House, so I play all day! 💕
  • Tell us a bit about why you needed a Multimac.
We changed our vehicle to a plug in hybrid , and consequently lost 2 seats ! Very difficult to only take 4 children out , as they all want to ride in the ladybird car !
So our options were: Multimac (a godsend!) or we could only take 3 ! There would be a sad little face at the window
Think I should have had Ladybirds on it though ! 🐞
  • Tell us a bit about your car.
Land Rover Defender 110 , Plug-In Hybrid – perfect for all the mud and wet we seem to attract!
  • How did you hear about Multimac?
A recommendation from a friend, who had purchased one for their grandchildren.
  • How did you manage before your Multimac, or what would you have done as an alternative?
We previously had a 7-seater, the Audi Q7, and prior to that we had hired a minibus weekly. This was very limiting and meant we could only go out once a week, but now, with the Multimac, we have adventures everyday !
  • What made you purchase your Multimac?
It was the only solution to adding an extra child seat to the car; our Land Rover was ordered with the central front jump seat, but this didn’t arrive.
  • How would you describe your experience with Multimac?
I find the multimac perfect for our needs: it is much safer than individual child car seats; has better harnessing and is more stable within the car. It’s very comfortable for the children and very easy to adjust for the children’s different heights. The children adore the Multimac; they feel like racing drivers!
  • Do you have any tips or advice for new Multimac owners?
It’s so useful to have the adult seat belt accessory.
  • Did you have any concerns when purchasing your Multimac?
No, not at all.
  • Do you have any exciting road trips planned with your Multimac?
Lots of trips to our allotment, visiting local forests and especially our favourite stream – especially now that the weather is warming up!
  • Is there any advice that you’d give to anyone considering buying a Multimac?
The Multimac is definitely worth every penny: it makes transporting children so much safer and it’s so much easier to strap in the children!
